Root Canal Treatement

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure used to treat infection that affect the pulp of a tooth. Root canal treatment is not painful and can save a tooth that might otherwise have to be removed completely.

How do I know I have Root Canal Problem

When you have consistent pain that responds to cold and heat

You may know it’s time for a root canal treatment if you are experiencing acute tooth pain that continues to spread to the surrounding area. What is happening is that the pulp chamber inside of the tooth that houses the living tissue, nerves, and blood tissue may have become inflamed or infected and a root canal will need to be performed to save the tooth.

What is involved in the root canal procedure

A root canal is performed when the dentist removes the infected pulp and nerve in the root of the tooth, cleans and shapes the inside of the root canal, then fills and seals the space. Afterward, your dentist will place a crown on the tooth to protect and restore it to its original function.
